Bolting plaster

Product description

Fescon Bolting Plaster is a special plaster with cement binder for rock construction. Also available in a sulphate-resistant grade.

Ready-to-use dry product.

Meets the standard SFS EN 206:2014+A1:2016 requirements which apply of dry products.
 

 

 

 

Applications

Grouting of the anchor bolts used in tunnel excavation.

Instructions

  • Add the dry material into the water
  • Mix the plaster into a homogeneous mass with a concrete mixer
  • Pump the plaster into the holes in the rock with a suitable pump
  • Workable for about one hour after adding water
  • Wash tools with water immediately after completing the work
  • Remove dried plaster mechanically

The fresh plaster must be kept damp for at least three days.

Waste handling

Hardened product and empty, dry packages can be delivered to a landfill. A liquid product must be delivered to a hazardous waste reception point.
