Mixing
Refer to the bag for how much water the plaster requires. Add the dry material to the water and mix with a concrete mixer for around ten minutes. With a power mixer or a drill paddle, around four to five minutes of mixing is sufficient. Allow the plaster to stand for around ten minutes and mix it again for a short while. Find the correct consistency at this stage by gradually adding the rest of the water. We do not recommend adding all of the water right at the start. The finished plaster remains workable for around one hour.
Work instructions
The lowest working temperature is +5°C. In slab-type casting, the minimum casting thickness is 50 mm and, for example, in casting the roof of a baking oven, it is 100 mm. Do not reinforce the casts, because the thermal expansion of steel is greater than that of the casting mass. The mass begins to set after 2-5 hours
After treatment
Before taking the structure into use, allow it to dry 2-3 weeks with all hatches and dampers open. Perform the first, careful heating with a heater blower, for example. Next 3 to 5 days, heat carefully with a small fire. Leave the hatches and dampers open after each drying heating.
