Flow HS
Product description
Designed for low-strength and difficult bases, Fescon Flow HS is a fibre-reinforced, low-alkali (pH < 11), casein-free, pump-applied levelling compound with a special cement binding agent, that is easy to level and features excellent workability.
- Casein-free
- Easy to level
- For layer thicknesses 8-50 mm (partial levelling 8-80 mm)
- Dries through hydration
- For floors with underfloor heating
- Can be pump-applied
Applications
- Suitable for levelling wooden floors, weak concrete floors, plasterboard floors, etc. in flats, offices, public buildings, schools, hospitals, and other such sites.
- Also suitable for solutions with floating floor structures.
- Tanker pumping is not recommended at temperatures < -25°C
The product is suitable for use on sites with a Nordic Swan Ecolabel.

Base
- Clean, solid and dust-free
- Sufficient strength, load-bearing capacity and immobility
- Relative humidity < 95% RH
- Temperature > + 10 °C
- Loose layers, cement paste and other impurities must be mechanically removed
- If the adhesion strength of the base is < 0.5 MPa, the floor is constructed as a floating structure
Priming
- Carry out the priming in accordance with Fescon Adhesive Primer instructions, depending on the base
- The adhesive primer must be dry before levelling
Instructions for use
- Mix a bag (20 kg) of the levelling compound in 4.0 litres of cold water
- Do not use any more water because this decreases the surface strength
- Mix the levelling compound carefully and long enough to make it a consistent paste
- Apply the levelling compound with a steel trowel or pump it onto the levelled surface
- Workable for about half an hour after adding water
- Wash tools with water immediately after completing the work
- When pumping, the relative humidity in the air must be >40%
Covering
- Can be covered using ceramic tiles, plastic or textile mats, vinyl tiles, wood parquet or cork
- The floor levelling compound (once it has dried) must not be left uncovered for a longer period than three months
- Once the base has dried sufficiently for the chosen flooring, the flooring is installed or the aftercare begun
- In conditions with an RH of less than 40%, special attention should be paid to when to begin the aftercare
- A floating structure should always be given aftercare within one day of the pumping
Waste handling
Hardened product and empty, dry packages can be delivered to a landfill. A liquid product must be delivered to a hazardous waste reception point.
