Refer to the bag for how much water the plaster requires. Add the dry material to the water and mix with a concrete mixer for around ten minutes. With a power mixer or a drill paddle, around two to three minutes of mixing is sufficient. Allow the plaster to stand for around ten minutes and mix it again for a short while. Find the correct consistency at this stage by gradually adding the rest of the water. We do not recommend adding all of the water right at the start. The finished plaster remains workable for around three hours.
The lowest working temperature is +5°C. The temperature of the stones must be above 0°C. Follow the instructions of the designers and official regulations in masonry work. National Building Code of Finland B8, Brick Structures, RYL 2000 and SFS manual 176. In facades subject to slanted rain, particular attention must be paid to masonry work and joint details. The brick should be at least 120 mm wide. Lay the bricks with full joints that are compacted during the masonry work. Ensure the tightness of the joints by applying mortar to the end of the brick before placing it. The connecting joints must be designed so that water that has penetrated the shell can exit the structure without damaging it.
Waste handling
Hardened product and empty, dry packages can be delivered to a landfill. A liquid product must be delivered to a hazardous waste reception point.
