Refer to the bag for how much water the plaster requires. Add the dry material into the water and mix with a power mixer or a drill paddle for around one to two minutes. Allow the plaster to stand for around ten minutes and mix it again for a short while. Find the correct consistency at this stage by gradually adding the rest of the water. We do not recommend adding all of the water right at the start. The finished plaster remains workable (in the container) for around two hours.
The meshing can be started once the adhesive mortar has dried. After installation, the insulation panels must be undamaged and seamless with no edges standing out. The façade surface must be even, with no edges standing out. If necessary, level out any edges standing out, for example by grinding the insulation panel surface. Always grind the entire surface of EPS panels.
Use alkali-protected fibreglass mesh as the plastering mesh. Begin the meshing by installing pieces of fibreglass mesh and pre-shaped corner shield meshes in the corners of the door and window openings. Spread a layer of plaster around 3-4 mm thick over the insulation panel either with a plaster sprayer or manually. Sink the fibreglass mesh into the fresh plaster. The meshes must overlap each other by a minimum of 100 mm. Next, spread a second layer of plaster around 2-3 mm thick, and finish the surface. You can spread the second layer of plaster once the previous layer has dried, but not until the next day at the earliest. After levelling, the mesh is entirely covered by plaster and the surface is level. Avoid working in direct sunlight and in hot weather. However, the air and material temperatures must be above + 5°C
In dry conditions, the coated area must be given aftercare with water spraying for at least one to three days. Coating can be begun no earlier than two days after ending aftercare, in accordance with the coating manufacturer's instructions.
