Instructions

Mix with a concrete mixer for around ten minutes; two to three minutes are sufficient with a power mixer. Let stand for ten minutes, and mix again for a short while. When using an automatic mixer, ensure that the amount of water does not get too high.

Casting work

  • First, determine the correct amount of water and keep it as constant as possible.
  • Install the mesh so that it remains as close to the centre of the plaster layer as possible.
  • Vibrate the plaster sufficiently.
  • Level the surface.
  • Once the surface has dried enough, float it. Do not allow cement paste to rise to the surface.
  • You can skip the floating stage and remove the cement paste by grinding the surface. Plaster strength affects the required grinding depth and conditions must therefore be kept constant.
  • Store the element for at least three days at indoor temperature before taking it outside.

On the site

  • Carefully overlap the meshes at the joints.
  • Fill in joints and deep cavities using the Lime-cement Plaster KS 20/80/500 Fibre.
  • Use Fescon Socle and Levelling Plaster for minor patching and levelling.
  • Level the surface to be coated.
