Refer to the bag for how much water the plaster requires. Add the dry material to the water and mix with a power mixer or a drill paddle for around one to two minutes. Allow the plaster to stand for around ten minutes and mix it again for a short while. Find the correct consistency at this stage by gradually adding the rest of the water. We do not recommend adding all of the water right at the start. The finished plaster remains workable for around two hours.

The surface to be tiled must be clean, undamaged and even. If you are laying tiles on top of an old coating, you must ensure that the old coating sticks to its base. Plastic carpets and paint surfaces must be roughened with coarse sandpaper before laying the tiles. After roughening, wash dust away from the surfaces. In wet areas, you must take water and moisture insulation into consideration. When applying tile adhesive plaster, the surface must be dry. If the underfloor heating is on, it must be switched off two days before the tiling work begins.

Spread the plaster on the base while pressing hard and rake it using the notched edge of the trowel. Notching for regular tiles is 6 x 6 x 9 mm and for mosaic tiles, 6 x 6 x 4 mm. Hold the trowel at a 45° angle to obtain the right amount of plaster. We recommend spreading plaster over an area you can tile in around ten minutes at a time. Press the tile down into the base and immediately tap it so that it beds well. Tile alignment can be easily corrected for a period of around ten minutes after bedding. Check that the back of the tile is entirely covered with plaster. Walking on the tiled floor is not allowed until two to three days at the earliest after the tile laying. The working temperature must be above 10°C.

Do not start grouting the floor until at least two to three days and the wall until at least one to two days after the tiling.

The drying temperature of the tiling should be above + 10°C. Underfloor heating should not be switched on until at least two days after grouting.
