Work instructions
Mix around 5 dl of clean, room-temperature water into 2 kg of plaster powder. You can use a straight-tipped trowel, jointing iron or a rubber glove to spread the plaster. In order to ensure adhesion, brush the patched location clean with a steel brush and remove any dust with a damp rag. Use a screwdriver to enlarge the cracks before patching. The durability of the patches is improved, if they are allowed to bind for a couple of days before heating. Be careful not to heat the oven too much the first time.
