Base requirements and coating conditions

The acrylic surface to be coated must be clean and dry. The surface temperature must be at least +3°C above the dew point. Adequate ventilation must be ensured during application. Odours generated during the work can be reduced by using negative pressure ventilation.

Mixing

Pre-mix the required amount of Nanten Acrylic 319-M1. Assess the effect of temperature on the required amount of hardener and add the hardener to the mixing container. Continue mixing for approximately two minutes.

Mixing ratio

Nanten Acrylic Hardener is used as the hardener, and the required amount depends on the working temperature.

1 dl of hardener = 64 g
+30°C 1 wt-%
+20°C 1.5 wt-%
+10°C 3 wt-%
+3°C 5 wt-%

Coverage

Approx. 0.4–0.5 kg/m², depending on the porosity and roughness of the substrate. A minimum of >0.3 kg/m² per application must be used to ensure proper curing.

Application instructions

Thoroughly mixed Nanten Acrylic 319-M1 is poured onto the floor in a bead and applied using a short-nap roller or a rubber squeegee. Once the topcoat has dried, a second coat may be applied if necessary.
