Product description

The Fescon LM 6000 is a casein-free manually applied floor levelling compound with a special cement binder that hardens and dries rapidly.

  • A surface that can be waterproofed in one work stage
  • For layer thicknesses 10-250 mm
  • Manually levelled
  • Dries through hydration

Applications

  • For casting, straightening and filling concrete floors and creating floor grading in flats, offices and public buildings
  • If necessary, the surface can be finished using the Fescon LT 4000 floor levelling compounds

The product is listed in the portal for building products that can be used in Nordic Swan Ecolabelled buildings.
GTIN code Product name Product number Package size
6416841202000 Floor compound LM 6000 20200 20 kg
Base
  • Clean, solid and dust-free
  • Sufficient strength, load-bearing capacity and immobility
  • Relative humidity < 95% RH
  • Temperature > +10°C...+25°C
  • Loose layers, cement paste and other impurities must be mechanically removed
Priming
  • Carry out the priming in accordance with Fescon Adhesive Primer instructions, depending on the base
  • When beginning the levelling work, there must be no puddles of primer
Instructions for use
  • Mix a bag (20 kg) of dry compound in 1.7-2.0 litres of cold water
  • Mix the LM 6000 into a consistent paste using a drill paddle
  • Spread the compound onto the base, and level or float it with a steel trowel. Perform the spreading, levelling and floating in one go; if compacting is required, use vibration
  • Workable for about half an hour after adding water
  • Wash tools with water immediately after completing the work
  • Remove dried levelling compound mechanically
  • The floor must be built as a floating, reinforced structure if the base is weak concrete (adhesion < 0.5 MPa), wood, or insulation
Covering
  • Overlay the cast surfaces with Fescon manual levelling compound
  • we do not recommend leaving the floor compound without coating
Other considerations
  • You must nevertheless ensure that the plaster’s technical properties meet the requirements set by the floor coating manufacturer and RYL, taking into account the entire structure. The straightness of the finishing plaster is measured, if necessary, under RT guideline 14-11039.
