Substrate

• The substrate may be a concrete surface, a formwork, or, in fence post installations, a ground pit.

Concrete substrates

• The substrate must be clean, solid, and free from dust.
• Loose layers, cement laitance, and other contaminants must be removed mechanically to ensure proper adhesion between the product and the substrate.
• Smooth concrete surfaces must be roughened.
• The substrate must be sufficiently strong, stable, and load-bearing.
• The temperature of the concrete surface to be repaired must be above +5°C.
• In winter conditions, it must be noted that the product cannot be applied onto frozen concrete, as frozen concrete lacks the water absorption required for proper adhesion. When cast into a formwork or ground pit, this is not an issue.

Priming

• No bonding primers are used with this product.
• Priming is performed by moistening the substrate with water approx. one hour before application. The surface must be matt-damp; no free water may remain on the substrate.

Instructions for use

• Mix one 25 kg bag of dry powder with 3.0–3.3 litres of cold water.
• With a low amount of water, the mix becomes moldable; with a normal amount of water, it becomes pourable.
• Use warm water when working below +10°C, and hot water in freezing conditions.
• Do not overdose water, as this weakens the product’s strength properties.
• Mix thoroughly into a homogeneous mass using a drill mixer. Mixing time 1.5–2 minutes.
• Apply the product to the working surface with a suitable tool.
• Working time approx. 4–5 minutes after water addition.
• Clean tools immediately after work with water.
• Hardened product can only be removed mechanically.

Covering

• The product may be left uncovered or uncoated.
• The product’s strength properties and other technical characteristics make it suitable as a substrate for most materials.

Curing

• The product does not require curing.
